My husband and I have left our work, country, families and home to spend a year in New Zealand. What began as a dream to have a year long holiday, sipping cocktails, skiing and hiking has now become a year long dedication in pursuit of the person of Jesus and discovering God’s anointing on our lives, his heart for us, meeting other Christians, learning how to walk with Jesus and fall in love with the word of God. In our planning and organising for the big trip, whispers of more began to fill our hearts and in the last 6 months I have fallen in love with Jesus and accepted God as the king of my heart. My heart has been broken for serving, the truth of the gospel and the image of Jesus as our humble lamb, coming for the meek and lowly. This blog is a space to share my thoughts and record what God reveals to me as we learn more. I am not a preacher, theologian, philosopher, biblical scholar or a monk. In fact I’m probably the least qualified person to do this, but at the very least it is a place for me to reflect many years down the line and remember some great stuff about God.
